Green Bike tour
Bike your way through the green villages, picturesque rice fields, volcanoes, temples and coffee plantations while learning more about them and the history. Its a 23 km mostly downhill ride with some adventurous biking around the forest. The adventurous biking is optional not mandatory. The tour starts with breakfast facing Mount Batur Volcano and ending with a delicious lunch facing rice fields in Ubud.
Unlike other companies Green Bike tour is operated by a local Balinese owner. We decided at the last minute to do the tour to which they were very accommodating. Also we had a small group of 6 people including us in the tour making it better and intimate. Our guide was very passionate about what he did as well as very detailed with Balinese history. Going to a family home and helping them make offerings for the temple was one of the many highlights of the tour.

Learnt how to prepare #canangsari #balineseoffering #bali #indonesia “Canang sari is offered every day to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa as a form of thanking for the peace given to the world; it is the simplest daily household offering. The philosophy behind the offering is self-sacrifice in that they take time and effort to prepare.” #worlderlust #instatravel #travelphotography #wanderlust #travel #lonelyplanet #coolpics #templeoffering #travelstellar
