Kayaking on Isabela Island, Galapagos

Luck was on our side for this one! It rained the morning we were planning on kayaking, 1 hour later the sun was out and the tide went down. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning to go kayak in the water to observe wildlife. An incredible experience where we got lucky enough to see feeding multiple times. During the process of feeding blue footed boobies circle an area multiple times before diving into the water to catch fish. This dive together creates major splash in the water making it look like beautiful fireworks in the water. To make it better, Galapagos penguins and Pelicans join in on the fun.  I won’t ever forget kayaking in the area  barely 2 meters away from penguins, blue footed boobies and Pelicans hanging out on the rocks. To add to that there were sealions playing in the water around us. There were a couple sea turtles that popped in and out but we didn’t see them clearly until we went snorkeling on another island. This was a truly memorable experience making it Seem like we were a part of national geographic channel!
